Welcome back to Yes Whale! I’m back from New York, and have had a crazy few days (21st shenanigans, and moving back to Edinburgh), so please excuse the gap in posts. I have also discovered that jet lag makes a busy week ridiculously difficult. I’m sleepy ALL THE TIME.
As I’m still pretty busy, but would also really like to post something, I thought I’d share some of the photos that I have of New York. I had the most incredible time, and have fallen head over heels in love with the city. As you can (hopefully) tell, it’s incredibly vibrant, and is bursting with love and anticipation; you feel the heartbeat of the city, constantly racing, wherever you walk. The people are ridiculously friendly, and (as hot as it was), the sunshine left me in the most incredible mood. Though I’m feeling horrendously tired now, and it was a very short trip, it was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I’m desperately hoping I’ll get to go back sometime in the near future.
Without further ado, here are some of my photos!
I’ll hopefully get around to a more in depth chat about my trip soon, but for now, I hope you enjoyed some pictures! The first, smaller shots were taken on my phone (IPhone 7), and the last few were taken on my beloved Panasonic Lumix. They were all edited using Afterlight (my holy grail of a photo editing app)!
If you’re here for some bookish content, and would like to have a little nosey at what I was reading while I was there, then you can find all of that here.
Thanks for reading!
